Swakopmund
Our tour commences in the quaint coastal town of Swakopmund, rich in history and architectural points of interest. Guests can look forward to several activities centred around the oceanic wildlife of the area as well as some desert adapted species that live along the breathtaking coastline. This incredibly unique landscape (where the ocean meets the desert) is synonymous with Namibia.

Damaraland
After 2 days in Swakopmund the group will depart for Damaraland. This lesser known area is characterised by an arid desert landscape with rocky plains as well as a number of interlinking riverbeds (filled with patches of dense greenery and ancient trees). Here the group will go in search of the elusive desert adapted wildlife found scattered in and around the hostile landscape.
Photographic Highlights: Game drives in search of the remarkable desert adapted animals that occupy the area.
Wildlife in the area: Desert adapted Elephants, lions and black rhino

Etosha: Dolomite & Okaukuejo
Over the next 6 days, the group will be stationed in the iconic Etosha National Park. The geography of the park varies greatly as one moves in and around the area. Our group can look forward to a mix of open plains, African savannah’s and of course the vast and open salt pans that have become synonymous with the park. Etosha offers a dense array of wildlife, ranging from birds to apex predators.

Wildlife in the area: Large mammals such as lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, hyena, giraffe, zebra | Smaller mammals such as jackal, warthog and the elusive honey badger | A large variety of magnificent bird life

Okonjima
We end our journey at the family-run Okonjima Nature reserve, a privately owned lodge that centres around big cat conservation. The reserve is set at the foot of the magnificent Omboroko Mountains, surrounded by a dense bush veld scattered with Acacia trees. Okonjima is infamous for being home to the largest density of leopard and brown hyena in Namibia.
Photographic Highlights: Once in a life-time leopard encounters as well as the opportunity to photograph other animals against the backdrop of the dense Namibian bushveld.

We end our journey in the Capital city of Windhoek, where guests can enjoy some rest and relaxation prior to departure the following day.
